Comany in General

The Ford Motor Company is in my opinion the best car and truck brand. Ford during the repression was the the only American Company that did not need a bail out. Ford's Cars and trucks are very high tech and have a very high class ratings. Ford's trucks are the most power full stock truck you can buy. Ford is a very respectable car manufacture too. they have fast cars and good gas mileage. over all Ford is a great Company and there cars and trucks are great rides.

Assembly line

Before Henry ford there was no mass production. Henry ford created a way that makes products faster and more quickly. He reinvented the way people made things. One person would only do one thing on that part of the assembly line and once he/she was done it would move to another section and someone would be assigned to do anther job with the same piece. But the down side of the assembly line was the working conditions. People where treated with no respect and it was long days and little pay. There were children that where 12 to 13 years old working in a factory. The working conditions were terrible but the assembly line in its self is great and Henry ford was mainly remembered for his part in the assembly line.

Evolution of cars technology

When Ford created the model A it had no technology and they had to crank start them. Since then technology has increased dramatically first was key start so there was no more crank starting needed. Then came air conditioning, radio, GPS, to tv's in cars, and now being able to press a button and your car starts. The technology has also changed how engines ran. Cars used to be all engine and what you see is what you got. Now they can plug a computer in your car and it will double your horsepower and double your torque. It's crazy a simple computer controls your car/truck.

The V8

http://dailynewsdig.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Ford_v8_-2.jpg
Henry Ford introduced the very first V8 engine in 1931. In 1929, Ford thought about creating the V8 but in 1931 it was brought out in the modified Model A. The competition with Chevy brought on the idea of the stronger and faster V8. The V6 that Ford and Chevy had both been using only had 6 cylinders which means there was only six pistons moving while driving. The V8 has 8 cylinders which makes the engine get more horsepower and way more torque.

Henry Ford Quotes

“When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it.”

“Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.”
